Fire doors are essential and mandatory safety devices in Public Establishments (ERP) such as schools, hospitals, cinemas, museums and stores, etc.

Electromagnetic suction cups from Perjes are holding systems using electromagnets to hold doors in the open or closed position, they are designed specifically for fire doors and in the field of fire and smoke compartmentation. The release of the leaves makes it possible to prevent the spread of fires without any human intervention (suction cup triggered by a magnetic field cutoff). Our suction cups are made in France and meet EN 1155 and DAS NFS 61-937 standards.

If there is a fire, the sliding door closes automatically in order to compartmentalize the fire and prevent its spread.

Sliding fire doors are one of the best solutions on the market to protect people and equipment from fires, they are most often found on logistics bases and underground car parks. Our bare suction cups are integrated into high-performance and efficient door release systems. After receiving an electrical safety order, the counterplate is ejected from the suction cup, which causes the lever to tilt along the axis and the door to close, which closes due to its own weight and the slope created at the assembly (intrinsic energy). Our suction cups are CE approved: CE by AFNOR certification (0333) EN 1155, CNPP NFS 61937-1 and 61937-2 and are perfectly applicable to DAS systems.
